Questions people actually ask

The basics

What is Manairge?

Manairge is a performance placement marketplace in the Philippines. People and small businesses rent out space they already control — shop fronts, vehicles, packaging, counters, social accounts, group chats — as advertising space.

Advertisers book that space by the week. Every scan, lead and sale is attributed to the exact placement that produced it, so both sides know which spot actually worked.

Which cities are covered?

Metro Manila is the launch market, with active placements in Cebu and Davao as well.

Coverage follows demand. When an advertiser asks for a barangay that is not covered, owners are recruited there — most requested areas exist within a week.

Do I need to sign up or download an app?

No. Listing a space and booking one both start as a WhatsApp message. No account, no app, no form.

Is this the same as a billboard company?

No. Traditional out-of-home sells scarce, expensive inventory on long contracts with no attribution. Manairge sells abundant, cheap inventory by the week, and every placement carries its own tracking ID.

The comparable entry point is ₱300 for one spot for one week, versus six figures on a monthly contract.

If you own a space

What kinds of space can be listed?

Shop fronts, walls, windows, doors, lightboxes. Jeepney panels, tricycle canopies, rider delivery boxes. Takeaway bags, wrappers, boxes. Counters, tables, screen bezels. Staff uniforms and umbrellas.

Online too: social accounts, groups and channels with a real local following.

How much can I earn per week?

Current listings run ₱300 to ₱1,800 per week. A typical shop front in Metro Manila sits around ₱500 to ₱900.

Packaging placements often earn more per peso of foot traffic than a wall does, because the ad leaves the shop in the customer's hand.

Does Manairge take a cut of my price?

No. You receive the full price you set. The 6.8% platform fee is charged on top to the advertiser.

Can I refuse an advertisement?

Yes, and without penalty. You see the artwork, the landing page, the dates and the amount before accepting.

Some categories never reach you at all — lending with undisclosed rates, gambling and adult content are blocked platform-wide.

When do I get paid?

After you send one photo showing the ad in place, time and location stamped. The advertiser's money is already held before the ad goes up.

Do I have to manage the QR code?

No. It is printed on the poster we send you and it never changes, even when the advertiser changes. You never reprint.

If you want to advertise

What is the minimum spend?

One placement for one week, currently from ₱300. No subscription, no retainer, no minimum campaign size.

What exactly do I pay?

The owner's placement price, plus 6.8% platform fee, plus the actual payment channel cost with no mark-up. Every line is itemised before you confirm.

How do I know the ad actually went up?

The owner must send a photo of the ad in place, stamped with time and location, before any money is released. That photo attaches to your campaign and stays on the placement page afterwards.

What if a spot underperforms?

You drop it and keep the ones that produced. Because results are attributed per placement rather than per campaign, you learn which specific corner is worth repeating instead of guessing at a campaign-level average.

I have no artwork. Is that a problem?

No. Send the offer in one line and we lay out a poster with the QR sized correctly, free of charge. Badly sized QR codes are the single most common reason a placement gets no scans.

Tracking and attribution

How is a customer tied to one specific spot?

Each placement has one permanent tracking ID. It can appear as a QR code, a tracked link or a promo code. Any scan, click or redemption resolves back to that one placement.

Why are there three carriers and not just a QR code?

Because channels differ. A QR code is unbeatable on something physical and useless on a phone screen the customer is already holding. Links work in Telegram, Pinterest and Facebook.

Some platforms strip or disable outbound links in captions and comments, leaving only a bio link — on those, a promo code is the only carrier that still attributes. Without it, those placements could not be sold at all.

What counts as a scan, a lead and a sale?

Scan: somebody scanned, clicked or used the code. Raw attention at that location.

Lead: they did something on the advertiser's side — a form, a chat, a saved voucher. The advertiser defines it.

Sale: they bought, reported from the advertiser's side or point of sale, attributed to the spot that started it.

Trust, privacy and limits

Is my phone number published anywhere?

No. Numbers are never shown publicly and are masked inside the platform.

Messaging us is not permission to publish. Nothing goes live until you confirm in that same chat that you want the listing up.

What happens if two advertisers want my spot the same week?

You see them side by side and pick one. The others are declined automatically and refunded in full. A spot is never double-sold, and you are never obliged to take the highest offer.

What is not allowed on the platform?

Lending offers that hide their true rate, gambling, adult content, anything requiring a licence the advertiser does not hold, and any creative that impersonates a government agency or a bank.

How are payouts sent?

GCash, bank transfer or USDT. USDT is free because the network fee is absorbed by us. Bank and e-wallet withdrawals pass through the provider's real cost with no mark-up — the exact fee and the amount you will receive are shown before you confirm.
